The debut version of the Android P Developer Preview should come out literally from day to day, found eminent insider Evan Blass, known under the nickname @evleaks. According to him, Google plans to release an early beta build of the update by the middle of this month (supposedly on March 14), while the release of the final version will take place not earlier than September 2018.
Not so much is known about the upcoming update. According to the information found by developers in the AOSP repository, Android P will receive protection from unauthorized activation of the microphone and camera, support the function of scanning the iris, as well as the built-in call record recorder.
Previously, it was suggested that soon Google may abandon the development of the tablet version of Android in favor of Chrome OS, which has already acquired enough functions to perform the role of a worthy replacement. This scenario looks the most promising, as it will allow the search giant to divide the lines of activity.
